Goldring's philosophy is to promote faithful reproduction of the original recording, retaining the creative nuances, musicality and rhythm that the artist has offered to hear. The E Series is designed to capture this experience when used with all medium to high mass toners found on most mid-priced budget decks. This is achieved through the use of our Duplex Magnetic and Goldring Expert Adjustment technology.

The E1 cartridge, the first in the range, uses a cantilevered carbon fiber overhang with a spherical stylus (0.6 mil) glued with a round rod. Carbon is an effective alternative to premium aluminum or boron materials, producing comparable results in most entry-level hi-fi applications.

Magnetic Duplex ™ Technology
All cartridges in the range feature Magnetic Duplex Technology ™, a dual magnet generator set that tracks the recording groove for better stereo separation and a more engaging and musical sound stage.


Expert adjustment
The E Series cartridges have been designed to allow micro-adjustments during production with a special adjustment screw. This means that the cartridge can be safely installed in a typical turntable because the angle that the stylus makes with the recording surface has been pre-set. The result is an optimized channel balance with zero degrees of horizontal tracking adjustment required. This ensures consistent and reassuring performance over the life of the product.


Stylus / Cantilever
With spherical styli with a choice of cantilevers, the E1 and E2 models are ideal as an upgrade to any budget cartridge, pre-equipped or obsolete.

The E3 model with its refined super elliptical stylus is an interesting upgrade for those who wish to extract even more information and details from the recording groove.
