This adapter converts digital HMDI signals into VGA and analog audio and distributes them to VGA monitor and audio jack outputs.


Description

This HDMI to VGA & Audio signal converter is the optimal solution for use with VGA monitors or projectors that will need to be connected to HDMI devices, such as Laptops, Ultrabooks, Tablets or Smartphones.
Not suitable for HDMI signals encoded in HDCP! *

Powered by the HDMI interface, or optionally via the Micro-B USB female port

* Note on HDCP copy protection: HDTV HDMI signals from Blu-ray and DVD are generally HDCP-encoded, at least when it comes to video material playbacks (commercial DVDs, etc.). The HDMI standard prohibits the conversion / analog playback of HDTV encoded HDTV signals, these types of signals will not be supported by this adapter and no signal will be output to the VGA connector as a result. This is valid for both DVD- / Blu-ray players and for playing DVDs and Blu-rays from a PC, Notebook, Ultrabook, Smartphone, etc.
