Ortofon OM 1S

The OM 1S is a magnetic cartridge (MM) with a spherical stylus that provides a balanced and distortion-free reading for general applications.

If your tone arm has a standard shell or cartridge holder, increase the optimal sound reproduction with the OMs. A glance at one of these cartridges will reveal Ortofon's response to the perfect pairing of the tonearm. Ingeniously nestled in the top of the mounting bracket is a tiny removable weight plate.

If your tone arm is a standard tone arm, just leave the weight plate.

If your tone arm is one of the low mass types, simply remove the weight. The mass of your OM cartridge is now only 2.5g
