The SONOS PLAY: 5 wireless speaker is the biggest and most powerful SONOS multiroom speakers. Equipped with 6 speakers, it can wirelessly broadcast all music shared on the local network, access thousands of webradios and the most popular online music services. It inaugurates a very well thought-out touch control interface which serves both to manage the volume of sound but also to move from one title to another without going through the application of control on smartphone or tablet.

The SONOS PLAY: 5 multi-room wireless speaker features six speakers, three for high frequencies and three for mid-low frequencies, powered by as many D-Class amplifiers. Like the SONOS: PLAY3 , It can be positioned horizontally (to increase the range of sound) or vertically (for a more restricted and more intimate sound field). It can also be paired with a second SONOS: PLAY5 speaker to provide a 2.0 system delivering true stereo sound. But its main asset for optimizing music distribution is the Trueplay autocalibration system built into the SONOS CONTROLLER application that automatically adjusts the speaker's rendering according to the acoustic characteristics of the listening room. This exclusive system uses the microphone of the iPhone or iPad on which the application is installed to calibrate the sound of the speaker according to its environment! The sound is always perfectly balanced, whatever the location of the speaker in the room, with only one speaker or with two speakers in stereo mode.

In order to be efficiently connected to the local network, the SONOS PLAY: 5 speaker can count on its six WiFi antennas and its Ethernet connector. Once connected, simply launch the SONOS CONTROLLER application on its smartphone or tablet to manage audio playback. All music shared on the local network is accessible, whether stored on a connected computer or on a NAS, as well as the music on the smartphone or on the user's tablet. Trueplay Exclusive Technology
