Soundcraft Ui12 Digital Mixing Console

Soundcraft introduces a new digital mixer, the Ui12, which runs through a WiFi router and is controlled with devices and laptops.
It is a rack format that has multiple inputs and outputs.

Concept

In order to avoid excessively large mixers, Soundcraft opted for a compact approach. The control is done entirely by a computer, a tablet or a telephone. Up to 10 devices can be connected simultaneously so that each musician can adjust his / her own sound. Small mixers are often limited in processing power. This is not the case for the Ui12 series! Each channel is equipped with 4-band parametric equalization, compressor, de-esser and noise gate. Three effects busses are also present.

Digitech amp modeling

A useful and exclusive option on a mixing console! The first two inputs on the Ui12 can be used as instrument input. Digitech modeling technology can be assigned to these two inputs to produce sounds relevant to your guitar or bass, whether electric or acoustic. In addition, you do not need a direct box via combo jack / XLR inputs.

The Ui12 has four jack / XLR inputs and four standard XLR connectors, including two auxiliaries. Stereo mixing of these can be transferred to a USB key.

It also has an RCA input and is equipped with a USB port whose interest is to read the multimedia content
