The Pro-Ject Amp Box RS power amplifier is a compact model with a tube input stage capable of delivering up to 2x110 Watts at 8 Ohms and 2x180 Watts at 4 Ohms.

The Pro-Ject Amp Box RS power amplifier is ideal for Hi-Fi and home theater applications. It adopts a dual mono design with a SMD topology in which the signal path is shortened to the maximum. The very sophisticated construction of this power amp includes an optimized PWM circuit with a wide bandwidth and an extremely low distortion rate. The tube entrance stages give this beautiful amp great softness and warmth, especially on the voices, extremely well timbre. When connected to the Pre-Out outputs of your preamplifier or amplifier, this Pro-Ject Amp Box RS amp gives you extra power and better musicality. The listening is very soft, while being dynamic. The staging and spatialization of the sound scene are well respected, the reproduction offering a beautiful amplitude and an impressive three-dimensionality. Perfectly suited for difficult-to-drive speakers (powerful bass speakers and / or loaded with large volumes of air), the Pro-Ject Amp Box RS is also suitable for bi-amplification. Its low-impedance speakers (up to 2 ohms) make it the ideal companion for electrostatic panels.

On the connector side, the Pro-Ject Amp Box RS is equipped with an unbalanced RCA stereo input and a balanced XLR stereo input, ideal for coupling with a pre-amp of audiophile quality like Pro-Ject Pre Box or Pro -Ject Pre Box S. As for the pair of gold-plated speaker terminals, it is compatible with banana plugs and cables up to 4 mm² of cross-section.
