Power and design

The PX series models are equipped with a newly developed Class D amplifier motor that concentrates all the necessary functions in a single custom LSI chip, and uses PLL technology to control transfer characteristics in real time, producing impressive and powerful sound quality. This new single-chip architecture offers higher power and better performance in a lighter, but reliable design. A combination of cutting edge technology and a component selection process make the PX series amplifiers extremely efficient with low noise, reliable protection functions and above all, exceptional sound quality.

DSP processing, routing of inputs and outputs

Amp Mode allows the user to configure the system without difficulty by selecting the input routing and output routing. A total of 15 types of patterns can be selected. - Input routing (Dual / Parallel / Single / SUM) - Speaker System Structure (FULL + FULL / SUB + SUB / FULL + SUB / Bi-Amp / Boost Full / Boost Sub)

A versatile range

With a range including four new models - 1200 W x2 PX10, 1050 W x2 PX8, 800 W x2 PX5, and 500 W x2 PX3 * - the PX series offers a varied range of different output power capacities suitable for a wide variety of 'applications. The PX3 and PX5 are also equipped with a Power Boost mode which combines the output power of two channels into one, in order to achieve significantly higher levels of power from high-powered speakers when needed (note that the number of available channels is halved in this case). * nominal power under 4 Ω

Sophisticated signal processing

PX series models contain crossover, filter, delay, and standard limiting functions, allowing quick and easy configuration of a system via the LCD screen, without the need for '' additional external treatment. All models also feature intelligent D-CONTOUR processing, a dynamic multi-band from Yamaha, which allows users to achieve consistent clarity and high quality sound at all output levels by adjusting the frequency response of each speaker connected either for the facade or for the stage monitors.

Simple and intuitive settings

In order to satisfy users with different levels of sound experience, the PX series offers basic and advanced configuration modes. Basic mode allows inexperienced users to easily configure a system to suit their needs, while advanced mode gives experienced users more precise control over all aspects of sound. All models have eight programmable presets for instant recall that reduces installation time and can be saved to a USB memory stick and shared with other PX amplifiers.

Configuration wizard

The configuration wizard saves you even more time during system configuration by assigning the optimized settings that suit your system - simply select the appropriate filter and crossover for each speaker, and the Config Wizard will do the rest. The configuration assistant also offers presets * specially designed for each model in a wide range of Yamahas passive speakers, such as CBR, Club, Installation series and VXS / VXC series, as well as an advanced mode which allows more configuration. detailed parameters such as input routing, input sensitivity, amplifier gain, and speaker impedance. * Presets may be added and updated in the future.

Complete connectivity, sustainable construction

Equipped with two XLR inputs and two TRS jacks, and, with outputs, screw terminal connectors, TRS jacks and Speakon, the amplifiers of the PX series offer the flexibility necessary for a wide variety of configurations, with studied durability to withstand "live" uses thanks to a robust chassis and integrated handles.

Security management

PX series amplifiers allow you to quickly and easily configure panel settings, monitor amplifier status and transfer data via USB, and also have a panel lock function to protect your settings. Users can even export information such as the internal device and log data to USB for quick troubleshooting in case of difficulties.
