KEF CI160QR

The KEF Ci160 QR is a built-in (ceiling or wall) enclosure designed to efficiently reproduce a very wide sound spectrum while preserving the space of your living room. Thanks to the use of a loudspeaker 16 cm in diameter, the bandwidth ranges from 38 Hz to 34 kHz. It is a coaxial model, two lanes. The coaxial loudspeaker offers many advantages - besides its small size - the main one being the great homogeneity of the sound produced. Indeed, the central cone, which acts as a loudspeaker, is perfectly in phase with the subwoofer. In addition, the large diaphragm serves as a horn and allows the horn speaker to produce a cleaner medium (with less distortion). This natural principle has undergone extensive development by KEF, which has given birth to the Uni-Q Array technology. The result is surprising. Ideally, the KEF Ci160 QR should be immersed in a sufficiently large volume of air to produce normal low-ceiling (false ceiling or insulated partition).
