The Klipsch R-41M is a compact 2-way speaker from the Klipsch Reference series. It is distinguished by the use of a Tractrix pavilion and a high sensitivity with regard to its size. This model replaces the Klipsch Reference R-14M speaker.

High yield
Klipsch's trademark for decades is the acoustic pavilions that equip its speakers. The American manufacturer has used this technique since the invention of the loudspeaker, at a time when amplifiers produced only a handful of watts. Combined with a 2.5 cm aluminum dome tweeter, the Tractrix horn "carries" the mid and high frequencies to the listener, effectively removing any attenuation of the high frequencies. The Tractix horn also increases the tweeter's performance in the midrange frequencies, requiring less power from the amplifier. In addition, the tweeter is mounted on an LTS suspension in kapton, which provides excellent absorption of body vibrations. The sound delivered by the Klipsch R-41M speaker is therefore easily intelligible, precise and affected by very little distortion.

The speakers can be used for the surround channels of a home theater installation.


IMG speaker
The Klipsch Reference R-41M speaker uses a 10 cm diameter IMG-type woofer. Its membrane is made with injected graphite, which makes it both very light and rigid. It is covered with a thin layer of copper, which gives it its orange color. The bass-reflex load of this speaker allows it to reproduce low frequencies up to 68 Hz. This speaker can be listened to without a subwoofer, or with it in order to enjoy lower and more incisive frequencies.

Finishing
The Klipsch Reference R-41M speaker is made of MDF, with a scratch-resistant wood imitation vinyl finish. It is delivered with a protective grid for magnetic speakers.
